Skip scavenging at Alresford tip
SAVE OUR TIP
Alresford Recycling Centre is under threat, despite playing a crucial role in keeping the town and its surrounding countryside tidy and safe. PLUS - the tip is a regular haunt of our 50 Dangerous Things playscheme and we would be devatated to lose it.
I made this poster of our skip scavenging activities during Summer camp, to promote the tip and support the Save Our Tip campaign.
UPDATE: The campaign was successful! In 2017, Alresford tip was taken over by Veolia and continues to provide an excellent service to the surrounding neighbourhoods. After negotiations with the new managers, 50 Dangerous Things campers are again allowed to visit the site to skip scavenge :-)
